I am not teaching at USC during Fall 2020, but am planning to teach POSC 381 and POSC 421 in Spring 2021.

For USC students thinking about enrolling in one of my classes:

The courses I teach are heavily discussion based, and I work hard to ensure that they are compelling, challenging and informative. If that sounds interesting to you, I hope you will be able to join us.

There is no wait list for my classes, all enrollment activity is routed through the main registration and enrollment process. The class is rigorous, and we strive to build a critical intellectual community during the course of the semester, starting on the very first day. Thus, my policy is not to allow students to add the course if they have missed the first class. So, if you would like to join the class in have not made it in before the start of the semester, I'd advise you to come to the first day of class and see how things shake out.
